この原稿では，テキストの形式オントロジーについて述べる．私が試みたオントロジカルな議論はテキストのトークン(物理的テキスト)とテキストそのもの(抽象的テキスト)の違いである．後者はここではオントロジカルには，オントロジーの公理によって詳細に説明される理解の中で，前者に依存していると捉えられる．私は形式的には両方のタイプをidentity，存在，部分，占有している空間，テキストの先行するもの？(text precedence)，そして意図性の基準で特徴づける．
